Kapitel has received a construction permit for the Agrejas business centre in Vilnius

Kapitel has received a construction permit to build the Agrejas business centre in the Šnipiškės district of Vilnius. The construction of the business centre with leasable area of 7,800 square metres is scheduled to begin in spring and to be completed at the end of 2023. Kapitel will invest up to 18 million euros in the project.

Amelija Rudenko, the Director of Agrėjas UAB, subsidiary of Kapitel, stated that in recent years the concept of the office and the expectations of employees have changed. Therefore, the new business centre is being developed to offer as many benefits as possible that have been discovered while working from home – nature, peace, space, shorter distances, infrastructure for relaxation and communication.

“We are happy to develop this business centre in a special location of the city – next to the restored old lakes and quiet residential areas, as well as near the main traffic routes and business ecosystems. We will strive to harmoniously integrate the building into the existing processes here by inviting the local community and residents of the neighbourhood to our open green yard, retail shops and services, catering facilities and other infrastructure,” said Amelija Rudenko.

The name of the Agrejas business centre project was chosen considering the surrounding nature, as well as the functional and aesthetic solutions of the business centre. The creative and architectural vision of the centre sought to present the project as the influence of four classic natural elements – Air, Fire, Water and Earth – in shaping the environment and surface of the area. Thus, the oxygen motif was chosen as the modern chemical element involved in all four classical elements. At the same time, oxygen is used in the identity of the business centre as a symbol of life, growth, energy, and communication.

This creative vision will be reflected in the interior, exterior and functional solutions of the Agrejas business centre – the project includes water features, three green terraces, a restaurant, social areas, and so on.

The Agrejas business centre at 86 Kernavės St. comprises two wings of 5 and 7 floors, commercial premises, a restaurant, and an open green courtyard. The total leasable area of the building will be 7,800 square metres. The building will have 184 underground parking places, infrastructure for electric cars, a separate 6-space above-ground parking lot for people with special needs, storage for 44 bicycles with the possibility to charge the batteries of bicycles and scooters. The business centre will also have change rooms, showers, an active lounge, and conference rooms.

The Agrejas business centre will have an A ++ energy class. The building will be certified according to the BREEAM standards system seeking the rating Very Good. The technical project for the O2 Offices was prepared by the architecture bureau City Projects, and the interior and landscape design solutions are being developed by Metro architektūra UAB.
