Spaces will open its largest flexible workspace and co-working area in Tallinn in the tallest building of the Arter Quarter
The leading global workspace platform IWG will operate under its Spaces brand a nearly 3,000 m² flexible workspace and co-working area in the Arter Quarter in the centre of Tallinn. The largest Spaces in Tallinn will be located on the second to sixth floor of Estonia’s tallest office building and will accommodate over 450 workplaces together with various sized meeting rooms and lounge areas. The Arter Quarter will be completed in the third quarter of 2024.
“With its various work environment concepts such as Spaces and Regus, IWG is a leading workspace platform in Europe, being also successful in the Baltic countries. The trust of a such strong international company in Arter Quarter is pleasing. Arter’s values such as a high-quality indoor climate, daily time savings thanks to a good location, various additional services and environmentally friendly energy solutions played an important role here – in other words, the well-being of employees must come first,” said Kapitel’s Project Director Allan Remmelkoor.
“I am delighted to expand our co-operation with Kapitel across Europe and operate Spaces in Arter Quarter. Tallinn has always stood out as the tech capital of the Baltics and its entrepreneurial spirit is absolutely remarkable,” commented Jekaterīna Kosmačeva, IWG Country Manager Baltics, Georgia & Belarus. “Spaces has been a tremendous success in Tallinn since day one and I am sure that Spaces Arter will be popular and well appreciated not only for its concept and service but for the fantastic location in the Arter Quarter. Every Spaces is unique, and businesses are welcome to have a taste of it and see how well it matches their needs for business environment, flexibility, sustainability and employee satisfaction.”
Spaces Arter multi-floor concept will offer trendy and cozy working environment, each floor feeling more miniature and more boutique. There will be sufficient meeting rooms to satisfy the needs of both, members and visitors of Spaces Arter and the needs of the whole Arter Quarter.
Located on the corner of Liivalaia and Juhkentali streets, the Arter Quarter consists of 28-, 15-, and 9-story buildings and a connecting central building with a multi-storey car park. With a total rental area of 38,000 m², the quarter will include 29,000 m² of high-quality office space, 6,000 m² of various catering and service spaces, 3,000 m² of rental apartments, roof terraces and public park. The near-zero energy buildings with environmentally friendly energy solutions are designed and built according to the Excellent level of the international BREEAM standard. The cooling and heating needs of buildings are covered by energy piles, district heating and district cooling. The architect of the quarter is Martin Aunin, the interior architect is Arhitekt11, and the main contractor is Merko Ehitus Eesti.
The quarter will have a total of 470 parking spaces, a car wash and Estonia’s largest indoor bicycle parking area with more than 100 spaces, along with a bicycle washing and maintenance area, as well as changing and shower rooms for cyclists. The entire quarter will be completed in the third quarter of 2024, including the newly constructed Veski Street and the upgraded section of Imanta Street, which will ensure safe and calm traffic around the quarter.
