Bureau Veritas is moving to the Arter quarter
The latest tenant of Arter quarter is the international audit and certification company Bureau Veritas. The 9-story building in Arter already opened the Bob W apartment hotel, while the 15-story office building and atrium will be completed this year.
Allan Remmelkoor, Project Director at Kapitel, commented: “The arrival of a leading company in its field to Arter quarter reflects our vision of creating a modern and dynamic environment that supports businesses in their growth. Bureau Veritas’ decision to choose Arter as its new home shows that we are capable of creating a working environment that meets even the most demanding standards.”
Tiit Hindreus, Head of Bureau Veritas Estonia, said: “We carefully selected the location of our new office. We chose Arter mainly because the new office is being built to meet our specific requirements. Additionally, modern and environmentally friendly materials are being used for the finishes. Accessibility is also important, and as a bonus, there is a beautiful view of the sea and the Old Town.”
The office spaces in the Arter quarter are 98% leased, with just over 1,000 square meters of office space still available. The 15-story office building will house law firms TGS Baltic, WALLESS, and TARK, the shipping trade services company Bunker Partner, real estate investment company Estateguru, wholesale company N.G.P Europe, and fintech company Depowise and Health Insurance Fund (Tervisekassa). The same office building will also feature various necessary services: Spaces with flexible office solutions and co-working services, City Tervisekliinik, beauty salon Arter Salon, sports club with a swimming pool Arter, and the VõiVõi restaurant by Master Chef Vladislav Djatšuk. In addition to Rahva Raamat and the Decoration & Fleur flower shop, as well as Falstaff Chef of the Year Silver Saa’s bakery and restaurant Aroma will be located in the atrium of the quarter.
The anchor tenant of Arter’s tallest, 28-storey building is Swedbank, who will move into the quarter in 2025. This summer, the 9-story building opened its doors to Bob W, an international accommodation company, with 58 rental apartments. The Arteri office building and atrium will be completed this year.
The Arter quarter comprises 28-, 15-, and 9-storey buildings connected by a central structure that also houses a parking garage. These near-zero energy buildings incorporate eco-friendly energy solutions and are designed and constructed to achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating. An environmentally friendly combination of energy piles, district heating and cooling is used throughout the development. The architect of the quarter is Martin Aunin, with interior architecture solutions by Arhitekt11. The general contractor is Merko Ehitus Eesti.
