Kapitel continues to support Estonian tennis for tenth year

Kapitel continues for the tenth year as the gold sponsor of the Estonian Tennis Association, focusing on supporting the top player Mark Lajal and talented young tennis players. Together with the support of previous years and this year’s sponsorship, Kapitel’s contribution to the development of tennis in Estonia totals 900 000 euros, which includes support for young tennis players and the organisation of various tournaments.

In 2025, the Kapitel Scholarship will be awarded to Estonian number one Mark Lajal, Markus Mölder, who played for Estonia in the Davis Cup, and young players Kiira Paškov, Nora Olivia Adamson, Ken Ink, Nikita Smirnov and Luukas Raudkivi. The scholarship support will enable the young players to improve their training and competitive opportunities. Since 2015, Kapitel has supported the development of a total of 30 Estonian youth tennis players with its scholarship.

Mark Lajal has been a recipient of the Kapitel scholarship since 2020. Over the past five years, he has risen to become Estonia’s top ranked player and has provided Estonian tennis fans with very memorable experiences at various international tournaments. Mark Lajal would like to thank Kapitel and the Estonian Tennis Federation for their continued support. “Let’s go forward together in 2025!” he added.

“Tennis is important to us and it has been a pleasure for almost a decade to support the development of talented young tennis players, including Mark Lajal’s rise to the top of the Estonian rankings,” said Taavi Ojala, CEO of Kapitel.

The Estonian Tennis Federation is very grateful for Kapitel’s support,” said Allar Hint, Secretary General of the Estonian Tennis Federation. “It will facilitate the training and competition opportunities of our future talents and will help in the implementation of several activities that will develop the tennis scene, such as the organisation and holding of various training courses and tournaments,” he added.
