Kapitel recognised as Culture Friend 2020

On 12 February, the Ministry of Culture presented the Culture Friend 2020 awards, where Kapitel was recognised for supporting Sõru Jazz.

“Culture is something we all care about. This year, there is reason to express the sincerest thanks and recognise all those entrepreneurs and private supporters who, despite the uncertain times, stood by their partners,” said Minister of Culture Anneli Ott.

According to Sõru Jazz initiator Guido Kangur, the organisers of the festival are grateful to Kapitel for their considerable and consistent support over the years, even in the difficult year 2020. “Culture Friend 2020 is a friend of Sõru Jazz! Jazz lovers say thank you,” Kangur added.

Previously, Kapitel was recognised as Culture Friend in 2017 for supporting the City Unfinished research project at the Estonian Academy of Arts. The results of the multi-annual research project are available on the website and at the exhibition of the Estonian Museum of Architecture until 25 April 2021.
