The largest electronics department store in Latvia, Elkor Technology, opened at the Spice Home interior design centre

On August 20, Elkor Technology’s electronics department store opened its doors on the 3000 square meter area on the 1^st floor of the Spice Home interior design centre. The new store offers the widest range of electronic goods in Latvia.

 Fulfilling a long-term development strategy we expand the supply of home furnishings with electronic and household goods, thus reinforcing Spice Home’s market position, said the director of the interior design centre Raimonds Ozolinš. As of now we are the largest shopping centre specializing on home furnishing in the Baltic. Our goal is to keep supplementing and expanding the centre’s range of goods with home furnishing brands demanded by the clients. We hope that opening the Elkor Technology store at the Spice Home centre provides us with more satisfied clients and allows us to enlarge the ever growing flow of customers faster. Thanks to the successful collecting of tenants, the customer flow at Spice Home has increased 37 percent in the first half year compared to the same period in 2009.

Elkor board member Ronalds Feldmanis says that the Spice Home interior design centre has a good geographical location and convenient access. Elkor’s view is that Spice Home is a suitable and prospective location for a store of electronic and household goods. We are taking advantage of the current time of possibilities to expand our business and find a new and profitable point of sale. Elkor’s summary sales space in Latvia is now over 50 000 square meters. Upon opening the new Elkor Technology department store, the existing Elkor Centres store on the 1^st floor of Spice Shopping Centre will also continue operating. Transferring electronic and household technology range to the Spice Home interior design centre allows us to significantly expand the range of clothes, sporting goods, sporting technology and toys.
