Eugesta, one of the largest distribution companies in the Baltics, has signed a long-term contract with Kapitel for the lease of 17,000 square metres. Eugesta’s warehouse, retail warehouse and office are located in the energy-efficient Rukki tee 1 and Rukki tee 5 logistics centres at the junction of Tallinn Ring Road in Rae municipality.

The logistics centre at Rukki tee 5, located at the intersection of Tallinn-Tartu highway and Tallinn ring road, on Tallinn Ring Road in Rae municipality, was completed in 2019. The building, with a leasable area of almost 10,000 square metres, has an A energy class label and a BREEAM green certificate at the Very Good level. The Rukki tee 1 building, which was completed in phases between 2015 and 2020, has a leasable area of around 50,000 square metres and is in BREEAM certification process. In order to reduce the environmental impact of the buildings, a 748 kW rooftop solar farm has been installed, which will generate locally more than 20% of the tenants’ annual electricity needs.
Eugesta is one of the largest distribution companies in the Baltics, representing hundreds of international FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) brands (e.g. Danone, Heinz, Reckitt, Henkel, Kimberly-Clark) and offering a wide range of services, including sales, product placement, logistics and marketing services to approximately 12,000 business customers (including COOP, Selver, Maxima, Rimi, Lidl and Prisma). Kapitel Logistics, part of the Kapitel group (kapitel.ee) that develops, owns and manages industrial and logistics real estate. The company’s portfolio includes two logistics centres with a total leasable area of approximately 60, 000 square metres in Rae municipality at Rukki tee 1 and Rukki tee 5. In addition, the company’s portfolio includes Solina factory with a leasable area of 15,000 square metres, which is to be completed in summer 2024 in Saue municipality at Saue tee 15, as well as properties with building rights in Rae municipality in Rukki Tehnopark and Gate Tallinn industrial park in Saue municipality. Major tenants of Kapitel Logistics include Smarten Logistics, Eugesta Eesti, OÜ Saue Production (Solina), ON24 and Itella Estonia.
