15.05.2026

Kapitel continues as a Gold Sponsor of the Estonian Tennis Association for the eleventh consecutive year, focusing on supporting Estonia’s top-ranked male player Mark Lajal as well as the country’s promising young tennis talents. In addition, Kapitel supports the organisation of the Davis Cup and Kapitel Masters tournaments.

In 2026, alongside Estonia’s number one player Mark Lajal, Kapitel scholarships will be awarded to promising young players Kiira Paškov, Nora Olivia Adamson, Ken Ink, Markus Mölder, Edwin Averjanov, Nikita Smirnov and Elizaveta Anikina. The scholarships help improve training and competition opportunities for the young athletes.

Mark Lajal has received the scholarship since 2020, during which time he has become Estonia’s top-ranked male tennis player and delivered memorable performances for Estonian tennis fans at various international tournaments. Since 2015, Kapitel has supported the development of more than 30 young Estonian tennis players through its scholarship programme.

“I am sincerely grateful to Kapitel, who have supported me since my junior years. Their long-term and consistent support has played a crucial role in shaping my career, allowing me to focus on training and compete at international championships,” said Mark Lajal.

“We are proud to support young tennis players on their path to the top. Mark has already given Estonian tennis fans many exciting moments, and we are confident that we will continue to celebrate the achievements – both big and small – of today’s young talents,” said Taavi Ojala, CEO of Kapitel.

According to Allar Hint, Secretary General of the Estonian Tennis Association, the federation is highly appreciative of Kapitel’s support, as it helps improve training and competition opportunities for Estonia’s leading players and future prospects. “Kapitel is also the main sponsor of the Estonian national team at Davis Cup matches and the year-end Kapitel Masters tournament,” added Hint.
