Spice Home – the new brand of the furniture and home goods center

12.11.2009

The Spice furniture and home goods center has changed its name to Spice Home, in order to strengthen its leading retailer position on the Riga home goods market.

“Two years ago we launched a completely new retail concept in the Baltic countries, focusing on furniture and home goods. In these two years, the economic situation has changed drastically, both globally and locally, and the consumers’ shopping habits have also changed. In order to keep up with market trends, we have substantially changed the product range sold at the shopping centre, so that all the favourite and affordable home goods brands are available from one place. We have also added new suppliers of household appliances and other practical household goods,” said Iveta Lāce, the director of Spice Home. Considering the increased interest in Latvian products, Spice Home now also includes the stores of several Latvian home goods companies, including the Čiekurs, Taps and Simra furniture manufacturers, the Elīza furniture showroom, and the Accenta kitchen showroom. With the addition of new home goods brands and the introduction of the affordable pricing strategy, Spice Home is entering a new stage of development under a new name.

Spice Home is the only shopping centre in Latvia where customers can buy everything they need for their home from a single place. The choice of goods sold at Spice Home has been adjusted to the changed habits of the consumers – we offer practical home and household products at affordable prices. New home goods retailers have recently opened their stores in the Spice Home centre – including cenuklubs.lv, D.E.B.C Outlet and Biotēka. Our aim is to stay the market leader, strengthen our brand and ensure that the all the best retailers are represented at Spice Home while also continually extending the range of goods available.

There are 38 stores in the Spice Home shopping centre, including seven stores of Latvian companies. The total area of the Spice Home centre is 22 200 sq. m and the centre has 1 834 parking spaces (1154 spaces in the outdoor car park and 680 spaces in the multi-storey parking garage).
