Kapitel’s office has received the Green Office Certificate from the Estonian Environmental Management Association. The recognition confirms that our daily office operations support environmentally sustainable principles – from energy use and waste management to employee awareness and occupational health.
“The Green Office is a natural continuation of our ongoing sustainability efforts,” said Raido Rosenberg, Kapitel’s Head of Sustainability. “The certification process helped us systematically review our office practices and identify new ways for our daily work to contribute to the company’s broader goals of energy efficiency and environmental management.”
Kapitel supports employee well-being and sustainability through sports benefits as well as an on-site gym and bicycle parking in the office building, available to all Delta Plaza employees. Waste is sorted in the office using the Longopac system, and printing has been reduced to a minimum, including cutting down the number of printers. When organising events or giving gifts, we prioritise local and sustainable options. The same applies to procurement, where we favour energy-efficient products, recyclable or recycled materials, and certified service and product providers. Kapitel’s leadership team has also completed the four-month Rohetiiger Academy development programme, where participants gain knowledge on climate change, circular economy, and product-service life cycles. Participation in the programme helped us build a portfolio-wide understanding of our environmental impact and provided a strong foundation for developing Kapitel’s ESG strategy in 2024.
